The Growing Your Business with Fred and Lyna Radio Show will explore all aspects of operating and marketing a small business through the experiences of the hosts Fred Hueston and Lyna Farkas as well as from featured guests who will be interviewed on the show.
Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur or an established small business owner, there are proven strategies available for you that will attract more customers, increase profit margin, avoid costly mistakes, give your business a much needed boost, and more.
You won't need a Degree in Economics just to understand what we're talking about. Our goal is to make this show as simple and informative as possible so that we can gently guide people along the difficult process of starting, operating, and growing their own small business.
About Fred and Lyna
Fred Hueston is co-host of the internet talk radio show Growing Your Business, as well as host of a home improvement show on AM radio in the Western North Carolina area. He has run several small businesses and is now recognized as an expert in his field. Fred not only started the first training center for marble and stone craftsmen in North America, but he is also the most requested consultant and expert witness in the stone industry.
Fred has written over 30 books and hundreds of articles for Nationally recognized magazines, such as This Old House. He has also appeared on HGTV and the Discovery Channel.
Fred’s on-air personality is upbeat, informative and humorous.
Lyna Farkas began her career path working as a customer service agent for a corporate airport. Six months later, she worked directly with airport owner in management. When she felt she couldn't grow any more in this job, she was recruitted to represent major hotels as a PR representative.
Lyna now runs her own decorative painting business and has authored two books on the subject, as well as various magazine articles. She is an experienced promoter and event organizer. Lyna has appeared on radio and TV, including PBS and local news stations, and has taught in various schools around the southeast.
Lyna has also done work for Martha Stewart and Bernhardt Furniture. She is currently assisting a motivational singer/song writer in helping him build his career and is on the board for a community inspirational center in her home town. Lyna’s on-air personality is positive, quick-witted and knowledgeable.
