Bill Whipple, a musician and a carpenter, wanted to make a violin that could fit into a backpack and be carried anywhere — and he actually designed the wipLstix to fit in a PVC pipe.
The length between its bridge and nut is that of a standard violin, but the body has been minimized to maximize portability. wipLstix is a self contained unit, complete with its 1/8th size bow and inflatable chinrest, all fitting inside a 2" diameter by 24" long watertight traveling tube! The case will also nicely accommodate the chunk of round rosin of your choice.
WipLstix is a great practice violin! They have an "intimate sound."
With its short bow, it's perfect for playing in the car on those long road trips, and with its compact size and sturdy construction, it makes an unobtrusive traveling companion in both the woods as well as the urban jungle and It takes up just a small space.
Construction of the wipLstix is what makes it unique. There is no neck joint as the body and neck are made of one long piece of maple making it
very durable The body is hollowed out to maximize sound and the top is made of quarter sawn spruce. The fingerboard is made of hickory, the tailpiece of maple and the nut and saddle from desert ironwood. It is important to Bill not to use any tropical rainforest woods in my products.
The tuners are modified zither pins with a slot cut in the top to accommodate a penny. That's right, you tune the fiddle with a penny.
A violin teacher can actually teach you how to play a violin using a wipLstx!

When a friend suggested to Kristen Marie Schuerlein that she start a specialty blanket business, the Seattle businesswoman's first reaction was no.
For one thing, she knew nothing about blankets.
Yet, for some reason, the idea just wouldn't go away.
Perhaps it was because Kristen knows first hand that we design our lives with thoughts, words and actions.
At 32 Kristen was diagnosed with Graves’ Disease and found herself profoundly fatigued, depressed and unable to fully function. During a 7 month recovery (her doctor told her she'd be stricken at least a year) Kristen refused to think or say she was s-i-c-k.
With focus, passion and the use of affirmations to direct the body and mind, Kristen came roaring back.
So she founded Afiirmagy, a company that has created a family of fleece blankets silk screened with positive affirmations. By wrapping people in the power of words like Love, Courage, Joy and Abundance, their blankets are sweet reminders that life is good!
Kristen has now committed herself to the possibility of 1,000,000 people worldwide wrapping themselves and their loved ones in the affirmations that grace Affirmagy's family of wraps. Her vision is a world where people harness the power of "I am" and live a life they truly love.
Kristen realized that her wraps would be well received in the spiritual market where law of attraction is taught and quickly created a source of outlets to sell them. Don't be surprised if your local spiritual book store carries these wonderful blankets!
Some thoughts from Kristen . . .
How does one live “intentionally?”
To me, it means setting goals and making deliberate choices about the life I want to live. It’s recognizing my talents and the gifts I have to offer the world, and
being thankful for the things the world has given to me. I am living a life I love and can’t help but share what I’ve learned along the way so that others can live lives they love as well. Here are a few tips to get you started:
Listen to your intuition. We all have that little voice inside talking away. Did you know you can actually train this little voice? When we tune in to what it’s saying, and we watch for evidence that it’s guiding us, we build the muscle to listen even more intently, and we learn to trust it. I have found using my intuition creates amazing results.
Actively make time to be still. Sometimes we get so caught up in our goals and commitments that we become overwhelmed or otherwise not well. We may blame it on work or stress, but it’s really a matter of taking some time so be still – to stop and care for ourselves. The rest of the world will keep moving along. Taking the time to be still and regroup allows us to return better than before.
Develop a personal mantra. “I am clear, calm and confident.” “My day unfolds with ease and grace”. “I can obtain it”. Developing a mantra is a powerful way to stay connected to our heart’s desire. Repeat your mantra whenever feeling challenged, overwhelmed or doubtful about where you are headed. It helps to stay focused on what you’re committed to and the results that you’re working toward. Consider creating mantras for all areas of life – personal, financial, physical and spiritual.

One evening, after attempting to keep his young child on his back for a Daddy horsey ride, the creator of the Daddle Saddle went into his garage and made a mock saddle.
AHA! He knew he had come up with a great idea . . .
Not having the resources to create this product, he sold the idea to The Cashel Company. This was a great fit for a company that sells equestrian saddles and products.
Now Dad can give the ultimate Horseback rides! Ideal for ages 2-6, it’s a soft, stuffed model of the real thing.
The Daddle™ is complete with adjustable stirrups, soft saddle horn and a latigo strap designed with Dad’s comfort in mind. This model provides interactive fun for the kids and adults alike. The Daddle™ is made of washable sturdy cotton and will bring hours of enjoyment to your home.

Customer Feedback:
I received the two saddles I ordered. They are terrific! My kids are wearing me out every time I get home from work. Oh behalf of my children, I thank you. It is a great product. (The other one is a gift for my best friend.)
Brian Mahoney, Park Ridge, NJ
The daddle saddle was a big hit and looked great on my brother-in-law. I am sure they will have plenty of fun with it. The kids took to it right away, and all were entertained. It was as much fun to give as I believe it was to receive.
As far as the service—how could I complain—placed the order on Monday before Christmas and the saddle was there on Christmas Eve. Maureen Delaney, NJ
I LOVE THE DADDLE! Thank you, it was a great birthday present from the kids for their dad.

When Rebecca got married, she and her husband moved into a small apartment in New York city. There was no place to put the litter AND Rebecca loved her cat, so she did some research and found that some people have trained their cats to use the toilet.
After 3 weeks, Rebecca was successful training her cat.
Realizing there was a need for a sure, quick way for others to train their cats — no matter how old their furry friend is — Rebecca patented her idea and found a manufacturer to create them in bulk.
With no prior marketing experience, Rebecca used a lot of instinct to get her product out there. She's been featured in newspapers and magazines and is presently doing all she can to educate the public on cleanliness and toilet training your cats.

FYI: Rebecca does not recommend teaching cats to flush the toilet. They would consider this a game and would continue doing so all day long.

Lovebulbs is a dream of Creator & Designer Leslie Hucul. What began as a housewife project, Lovebulbs has now exploded onto the scene! Her mission is to Light The World With EVERY COLOR POSSIBLE! "I spent my entire life loving light. Having grown up in West Orange New Jersey, I had the opportunity to visit the Thomas Edison lab numerous times as a child. Always loving that place and never knowing why, somehow now it all makes sense!"
After working in Administration for entertainment companies such as Disney, MCA and Playboy, Leslie decided to pursue her love for concert lighting, ended up becoming a lighting tech and programmer up until the time she began
Lovebulbs.
Leslie spent 7 years working at the MGM Grand, had the opportunity to be on the crews of the largest and most prestigious shows in the world, such as the Billboard Music Awards, Cher, VH1 Divas, Aerosmith, Elton John, Madonnna, etc.
Today Leslie spends her time creating this amazing art. Inspired by the love for her family, Lovebulbs was created!

To help Lovebulbs make a presence, Leslie is finding ways to market them with celebrities. One way she is doing this is by getting the bulbs in Celebrity Award Gift Bags (Backstage Creations). Leslie works with Backstage Creations, who puts the gift bags together.
