Are You in the Flow of Abundance?

Tip: Be in the State of Gratitude and Abundance will Abound

Fred: Michael McCullough recently published a paper in the Psychological Bulletin in which he says:

Gratitude is a positive and energizing emotion that wells up in response to having received a benefit from another person. Gratitude may also motivate people to do good to others. If so, it is an emotion well worth trying to cultivate.

Lyna: I know that when someone appreciates me, or something I do, I want to do more for that person—I want him/her to be successful.

Fred: And it also encourages me to let the people who have helped me throughout life know how much it means to me.

Lyna: Yesterday, as we were looking back through the last six months of Growing Your Business, we realized just how instrumental meeting Greg Scott Reid (www.alwaysgood.com) was to the direction the radio show is taking.

Fred: It felt great to write an email to Greg thanking him for being a mentor to us.

Lyna: And when he acknowledged receiving it, I felt like a kid at school who received a gold star for the day!

Fred: Gratitude is good business. It is a powerful motivator to the giver and receiver.

Lyna: It is a big factor in networking and building relationships.

Fred: Great leaders show gratitude freely and genuinely. Consultant and author Peter Ducker attributed much of his success to writing 8 to 10 thank you notes every single day.

Lyna: When you are in gratitude, you are in the flow of abundance. Your focus is on what you have and you always get more of what you focus on (Law of Attraction). This makes you more grateful, which brings more success into your life.  Get the idea?

Fred: Here is a quote we came across that we are incorporating in our mission statement. Feel free to do the same—you'll be glad you did:

Be thoughtful in your thankfulness, gracious in your giving, and plentiful in your praise of others.     —author unknown

The Publicity HoundI've been following Joan Stewart, The Publicity Hound®, for years and have bought several of her products. As a result, I doubled the number of publicity hits I was getting in just eight months, and I even got stories in the Los Angeles Times and on National Public Radio.
